What to ask for
- Ask for
- Content admin User access
- Minimum safe access
- Content admin (Analyst if you only report).
- Client needs
- Super admin on the Company Page. The agency member must be a 1st–3rd degree connection and follow the Page.
Ask for Content admin and nothing broader. The smallest role that does the job is easier for the client to approve, easier to audit later, and simpler to remove when the work ends. If the scope of work grows, ask again for the larger role rather than requesting it up front.
| Permission | Level | Lets the agency |
|---|---|---|
| Super admin | Owner-level | Everything, including adding or removing admins and deactivating the Page |

| Analyst | Read | View and export analytics |

What breaks if the role is wrong
- Too lowAnalyst: analytics only, no posting.
- Too highSuper admin can remove other admins, including the client's.
- GotchaNo Add admin button means you're not a Super admin.
- GotchaOne Page admin role per person; paid media admin roles are separate and can be several.
- GotchaSponsored Content as the Page still runs through a Campaign Manager ad account.
- GotchaShowcase Pages need their own admin access.
