  1. The client logs into ads.google.com

If your agency uses an MCC (Manager Account):

The client needs to unlink your MCC from their account:

Mistake 1: Only Removing Some Platforms

  • Archived client audit logs (don't delete — compliance)
  • Updated internal access inventory

Team Cleanup

  • Removed client folder from shared drives
  • Archived project in project management system
